June is PTSD Awareness Month, a time to shed light on the complexities of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder-with a focus on 27th June being PTSD Awareness Day.
PTSD affects millions worldwide, often stemming from traumatic events like combat, abuse, or natural disasters.

Symptoms include flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, and avoidance behaviors. It's crucial to recognize that PTSD is not a sign of weakness but a response to trauma.

By promoting awareness, we can work to break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage those affected to seek help. Support from loved ones, therapy, and self-care can make a significant difference in recovery.

Common Symptoms :
◆Anger and irritability
◆Depression and hopelessness
◆Feeling alienated and alone
◆Feelings of mistrust and betrayal
◆Guilt, shame, or self-blame
◆Physical aches and pains
◆Substance abuse
◆Suicidal thoughts and feelings

Let's use this month to educate ourselves, offer compassion, and advocate for resources that support those living with PTSD. Together, we can foster a more understanding and supportive community.🤝

International Yoga Day is celebrated annually on June 21, marking the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. This day was chosen to commemorate yoga's universal appeal and benefits, following Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposal to the United Nations General Assembly in 2014. The UN adopted the resolution with 177 co-sponsoring nations, and the first International Yoga Day was observed on June 21, 2015.
Yoga has been shown to have a positive impact on brain cognition, including:
- Improving attention and focus
- Enhancing memory and learning
- Boosting cognitive flexibility
- Reducing stress and anxiety
- Promoting neuroplasticity

The practice of yoga combines physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation, which can help to:
- Increase blood flow to the brain
- Reduce inflammation and oxidative stress
- Promote the growth of new neurons
- Enhance the connection between brain cells.

Men are getting better at recognising and seeking support for their mental health, but we know many still do not reach out for help. In fact, only 37% of men and boys reach out for support when they need it.
Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, observed in June, aims to break the stigma surrounding men's mental health issues. It encourages men to prioritize their emotional well-being, seek help when needed, and promotes open conversations about mental health. By fostering a supportive environment, we can help men build resilience, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and improve their overall mental health. Let's work together to create a culture where men feel comfortable discussing their feelings and seeking support without fear of judgment.
Let's spread Love❤️ and Support🤝 and create a culture that normalizes asking for help.

***coday
To***co use can have significant effects on mental health, both positively and negatively, depending on the context and individual. Some key points to consider:

Negative Effects:

1.Ni****ne withdrawal: Can lead to anxiety, irritability, and depression.
2.Increased risk of mental health disorders: To***co use has been linked to a higher risk of developing depression, anxiety disorders, and schizophrenia.
3.Worsening symptoms: To***co can exacerbate symptoms of mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression.
4.Reduced effectiveness of medications: To***co use can interact with certain medications, reducing their effectiveness in managing mental health conditions.

Positive Effects (short-term):

1.Ni****ne's temporary mood-enhancing effects: Ni****ne can temporarily improve mood, concentration, and cognitive function.
2.Stress relief: Some people may perceive smoking or using to***co products as a way to relax and reduce stress.

Important Note:

While to***co may provide temporary mood-enhancing effects, the long-term risks and negative consequences far outweigh any potential benefits. Quitting to***co can lead to significant improvements in both physical and mental health.

Resources:

If you're struggling with to***co addiction or mental health concerns, consider reaching out to:

2.𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 or therapists
3.Support groups, such as Ni****ne Anonymous or online forums.

By understanding the complex relationship between to***co and mental health, individuals can make informed decisions about their health and seek support when needed.

International Moment of Laughter Day

A day to remind people to laugh. Created by humor consultant and psychologist, Izzy Gesell, this day is for promoting fun activities and encouraging laughter.
Laughing can indeed reduce stress. When we laugh, our body releases endorphins, also known as "feel-good" hormones. These chemicals help alleviate stress and anxiety by promoting a sense of relaxation and well-being.

Laughter has been shown to:

1. Lower cortisol levels (the stress hormone);
2. Reduce muscle tension;
3. Improve mood;
4. Boost immune function.

April is Stress Awareness Month.
It has been held every April since 1992 to raise awareness of the causes and cures for our modern-day stress epidemic. It is the time when we have an opportunity for an open conversation on the impact of stress. Dedicated time to removing the guilt, shame, and stigma around mental health. To talk about stress, and its effects and open up about our mental and emotional state with friends, families, colleagues, and professionals.
