Stop trying so hard. Stop forcing 💨. Just breathe, and your body will follow 🌿.
We always recommend integrating pranayama at the beginning 🕉️ and end of your class — it sets the tone, calms the nervous system ⚡, and helps students arrive fully in their bodies 🧘♀️. But the most important practice is to hear the breath throughout the class 👂💛.
Guide the breath first 🌬️. Then focus on alignment 🧘♂️. Only after that, bring in the asana names . Teaching and practicing this way allows students to truly embody the movement, rather than just performing it.
Learning to guide the breath is simple: close your eyes, remove distractions, and feel the flow of your own inhalation and exhalation 🌬️💛. Once you master that inner awareness, guiding others becomes natural and intuitive 🙏.
Remember: yoga is not about perfection ✨ — it’s about presence, listening, and allowing the breath to lead the way🌿💫.

Your nervous system is not failing — it is communicating. ✨💛
Lately, more and more teachers are reaching out to us, saying they feel nervous to teach 😟, or that they’re “not good enough.” They worry they might be doing something wrong in class.
The truth is, much of this pressure comes from a common misunderstanding: that yoga is only about asanas 🧘♀️. That I have to be able to do a split 🤸♂️, a handstand 🤸♀️, or the most impressive poses to be a good teacher.
But a great teacher knows: yoga is so much more than asana 🌿. In traditional Hatha Yoga, there are only 12 asanas. It’s never been about who can sequence the flashiest class, the longest flow, or the most complex poses ✨.
Teaching yoga is about understanding the body, the mind, and the nervous system. It’s about listening 👂, guiding 👐, and creating space for each student to come home to themselves.
So if you feel pressure or doubt — remember: your nervous system is speaking, and your wisdom as a teacher comes from presence, compassion 💛, and understanding, not performance.
Yoga begins beyond the pose — in awareness 🌸, care 🌿, and connection 🤝.

We honestly cannot imagine our work without Ayurveda. It has become a natural part of how we hold space, teach, and support healing.
At the same time, we consciously keep the option open. In Dharamshala, we still offer our courses without mandatory Ayurveda, because the Himalayas themselves carry a deep, quiet healing energy. Life there moves more slowly, the air feels supportive, and everything unfolds with less pressure. Healing happens naturally, without force.
In Goa, the energy is very different. It is vibrant, fast, and often demanding. People arrive carrying stress, comparison, and exhaustion from modern life. Here, Ayurveda becomes an essential support — helping the nervous system settle, digestion regulate, and the body come back into balance.
There is no pressure, no “one way.”✨💛
Only choice, awareness, and respect for different needs.
Healing flows when we live in rhythm — with the place, the body, and the moment we are in.

💛Yoga begins when you start listening to your body.

Over the years, we have educated many students, met countless personalities, and witnessed a wide spectrum of emotions, stories, and transformations. Through all of this, one truth has become very clear to us: there is a side of yoga that is rarely spoken about.
This month, we want to gently open space for that conversation.
Yoga is not only about learning more, doing more, or giving more. Especially for teachers, we see how easy it is to fall into over-giving, over-performing, and losing balance in the name of “being a good teacher.” We want to support teachers in finding their own balance again, creating space for healing, and stepping out of this overly academic, performance-driven approach to yoga.
Hari Ji often reminds our students: “We are not here just to give you a certificate. This work is about coming back home.”
The certification system, which did not even exist in India traditionally, has now become one of the biggest attractions in modern yoga. And we increasingly see people arriving only to collect certificates, without truly looking beyond them.
Yoga was never meant to be judged as right or wrong. What supports one body may not support another. Every person carries their own history, their own nervous system, their own lived experience.
So we invite you to pause.
Come back home — to your body, your breath, your inner guidance.
Listen deeply.
Honor your own path, and allow others to honor theirs.
This is where yoga truly begins.

✨🌿 Happy New Year 2026 from all of us at Shree Hari Yoga! 🌿✨
As the new year unfolds, the stars and numbers align to guide us toward growth, self-love, and inner peace. This is a moment to let go of what no longer serves you, embrace your journey, and open your heart to new possibilities. 🌌💛
Remember, yoga is more than asanas—it’s the breath you take, the stillness you honor, the love you give. Let your practice remind you to live with compassion, not judgment; with curiosity, not fear. Every moment is a chance to choose love, gratitude, and presence. 🌿🧘♀️
From our hearts to yours, we wish you a year full of light, balance, and soulful growth. Thank you for being part of our Shree Hari Yoga family. Here’s to an extraordinary 2026! ✨💫

This is your gentle reminder.
Life is not meant to be measured by right or wrong, good or bad.
Those are labels the mind creates to feel safe.
Love lives beyond judgment.
Love doesn’t divide, compare, or defend.
Love simply sees.
When we choose love, we soften.
We listen deeper.
We remember that every soul is walking their own path, carrying their own unseen stories.
Today, breathe before you judge.
Pause before you react.
Choose love — again and again.
That is the real practice.
Much Love and Gratitude
SHY Team💛

What we offer to Lord Shiva is never random — every flower carries meaning, energy, and intention.
Dhatura and Akanda are offered as symbols of fearlessness, renunciation, and transcendence beyond the mind.
Bilva leaves honor the holy trinity and remind us of balance and unity in all creation.
The white lotus blooms untouched by the world, reminding us to stay pure within, even as we move through life.💛

✨ Calm may be the picture, but courage is the journey. ✨
Behind the scenes, there are challenges most never speak about. Even something as simple as finding a chef who cooks with love, without smoking or drinking, can feel like moving mountains. It takes patience, honesty, and sometimes painful lessons to get there.
