A State level team from the Maternal Health division of NHM, Assam led by the Consultant Dr. Uday Shankar Medhi and accompanied by the senior programme officers visited Swahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital, Golaghat this evening. They had a discussion on the various aspects of maternal health with the Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, the team of O&G doctors and staff of the hospital. The Joint Director of Health Services, the Additional CM&HO, the District Immunization Officer, the Incharge, in-house laboratory, DPM, DME, DCM, DDSM and others were present during the discussion. The team also visited the MCH wing and oversaw the ANC & PNC wards, Labour Room etc and interacted with the on duty staff there.
