If someone has a mild illness, he can take the actual medication or, alternatively, find out what in his brain is causing the mild illness. If the illness is serious and potentially life-threatening, it is obviously wiser to take the right medication. However, even after taking medication, it is advisable to find out what the brain is doing. Obviously, medication should not be ruled out. Every modality of therapy has its place.
