Dr. Abhitesh Kumar Tripathi has completed his MBBS from the most prestigious medical college of eastern Uttar Pradesh, BRD medical college, Gorakhpur. He further completed his DNB from Jan Swastha Sahyog (JSS) Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, which is among the pioneering institutes in practicing rural medicine oriented towards the health needs of underserved communities. JSS has caused a great impact in the primary healthcare domain across the globe, not only by unique models of delivering comprehensive healthcare services in resource-poor settings but also by advocating for pro-people health policies and programs, both at central and state governmental levels (mainly Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh). He has vast experience in NCDs like Diabetes and Hypertension, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Nephrology, and Neurology. He has a special enthusiasm for infectious diseases like Tuberculosis and Leprosy. He has also served as a government medical officer in Gorakhpur and in Delhi. He has a passion for rural medicine, services health needs of rural india, and working in resource-limited areas.
