In simple words, what is the difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest? Which one needs to be avoided the most?
In recent times, people are calling these two words heart attack and cardiac arrest as very old. Often people consider both of them to be the same thing, whereas both of them are completely different things. Both are related to the automobile heart but are quite different because in one there is a high possibility of life risk and in the other situation there can be a slight delay.
Let us explain both the principles to you in simple language. Dr. Anuj Kumar is telling us about this.
What did the doctor say?
Dr. Anuj Kumar, a craniophysical surgeon from Jharkhand, says that recovery will be difficult in most technical language, but in simple language, the heart is like a water pump. If you look at the pump, there are two things in it. First of all, there is a flow of electricity and with the help of the energy that comes from that flow of electricity, the pump pulls out the water and throws it out. Well, similarly, the bones of the heart can be identified in both of these.
What is a heart attack?
If something gets stuck in the pipe of the water pump, then the pump will not pump water properly.
Something similar happens in a heart attack as well. If for some reason protein enters the pipe of the heart or something gets stuck or jammed, then it is not able to properly flow blood in the body i.e. blood circulation. In a heart attack, the patient never gets sudden pains. The symptoms seen in them are like this.
Signs of a heart attack
Chest pain.
This pain goes towards the upper part of the stomach, sometimes towards the arm or shoulder.
Some people may also have pain in the jaw or teeth.
Suffering and pleasure in breathing.
Some people may also have gas in the stomach.
How is the blood stored?
The doctor says that if the flow of electricity in the pump suddenly stops, then the pump stops working completely. Something similar happens in cardiac arrest. The heart stops working completely due to flu. This is the reason why sudden death occurs. In cardiac arrest, you are trying to start the heart recovery pump by giving CPR or the doctor is getting the blood pumped but in this situation the patient needs immediate medical help. So that as soon as the patient reaches the hospital, the work of bringing back his heart can be done with the help of AED machine.
