Fatima Hospital is a Charitable hospital based at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh that serves a broad range of in patients and out patients, erected on 16th July 1995, owned and managed by the Catholic Diocese of Gorakhpur. Hospital stands for Christian values that have become the soul of the hospital and strives to provide comprehensive healthcare possible irrespective of the patient’s caste, creed, religion and economic condition and to provide excellence in patient care and treatment by serving the needs of the community beyond the boundaries. The hospital started with 20 beds in provision for the general medical facilities and now it has become the safest and highest-quality hospital with committed and dedicated medical team in the region of Eastern Uttar Pradesh and it is the first and only hospital in the city to conduct an open heart surgery in Gorakhpur district. The hospital is now 200 bedded furnished with all the basic facilities such as General Medicine, Cardiology, General Surgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Cardio Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dental, Casualty, Radiology & Imaging, Pharmacy, NICU, ICU, MICU, Dialysis, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Hematology, Histopathology, Clinical Pathology, Community health, Blood Bank and Chaplaincy Service. Fatima Hospital aims to improve the health status of urban population in general and the poor and other disadvantaged sections in particular, by facilitating equitable access to quality health care through a revamped primary public health care service, targeted outreach services and involvement of the community and urban local bodies.

PARAMEDICAL INSTITUTE

Fatima Hospital Gorakhpur had established FATIMA SCHOOL OF NURSING in the year 2009 and has been running Diploma course in G.N.M (General Nursing and midwifery) since then. Besides, FATIMA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE (FIMS) has been conducting courses D.M.L.T (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician) from IMA & NIOS, New Delhi and DOPT (Diploma in Optometry Technology: Eye technician) from U.P State Medical Faculty, Lucknow.
