Hallux valgus deformity refers to a bump on the side of the big toe. It is a progressive foot deformity as the first metatarsophalangeal joint is affected and is often accompanied by significant functional disability and foot pain.

The incorrect walking pattern is one of the causations of hallux valgus, as over-using big toe for pushing during walking and running.

Sennogait Could help to indicates the risks of hallux valgus by evaluating the landing line of the foot when foot strike. As it can be seen below, the redline turns inward at the toe area, which means that the person is over-using big toe when pushing.

The maximum swing width and swing velocity are the two most important measurements in swing analysis.

👉Maximum swing width
A tester has a weaker core when walking if the measurement of maximum swing width is exceeding.

👉Swing velocity
A tester might have leg length discrepancy (or injures) if is a significant difference in the measurement of swing velocity between left and right legs
