So the blood test (done on your blood serum) can't tell you if you are deficient!

Eat less calories to lose weight is a Myth!
Its been totally proven it does not work. when you reduce your calories your body will automatically compensate by slowing down the metabolism. It may work the first time you do but the more you do it over and over and over it will work less and less and less to the point where it won't work at all🤷‍♀️
Secondly, Calorie counting talks about weight loss not fat loss. If you want fat loss know first how a fat cell works! When you cut calories you do not have dramatic effect on the fat cell but if you cut sugar, you cut insulin that will have effect on the fat cell.
So, the fat cell is regulated by insulin. If you lower insulin by cutting sugar and being smart with your carbohydrate choices you will lose fat.
So, starve your body not of calories but of sugar and refind carbs which drop insulin and forces your body to born fat.

Potassium helps our cells absorb glucose- therefore less circulation sugar/glucose in bloodstream.
So for those struggling to tolerate carbs, Potassium might be part of the answer.
👌Increasing Potassium intake reduces risk of heart disease and stroke by lowering blood pressure
👌it balances out sodium so dont cut salt rather add more Potassium rich foods to your diet. We need 4 times more Potassium than sodium!!

Muscle is the organ of longevity.
Muscle mass is essential for maintaining a healthy weight. It also is a key factor in reducing the risk of chronic diseases.
One of the reasons why obesity is hard to treat is because its looked and treated the wrong way. Just focusing on fatloss and not muscle gain.
Issues like obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, alzheimers are diseases of skeletal muscle first.
If individuals have healthy skeletal muscles they are going to be metabolically healthy.
