“How much protein do we really need?”

Some say 1g per kg of body weight, others push for 2g or more — but here’s the truth 👉
It’s not just about body weight… your fat percentage and activity level matter too!

If you’ve ever been confused about protein intake, this simple chart breaks it down beautifully 👇

⚖️ Protein Intake Based on Activity (per kg lean body mass):

Activity Level = Protein Needed (g/kg LBM) = Example (for 64 kg lean mass)

🛋️ Sedentary / Very Light Activity: 1.0 – 1.2g → 64–77g/day
🚶 Moderate Activity / Light Workouts (3–4x/week): 1.3 – 1.6g → 83–100g/day
🏋️ Regular Strength Training / Gym 5–6x/week: 1.6 – 2.0g → 100–128g/day
🏃 Athletes / Bodybuilders / Cutting Phase: 2.0 – 2.2g (sometimes up to 2.4) → 128–140g/day
