People will judge you no matter the type of mom you are.

If a mom’s on top of her kids, she’s called a helicopter mom, and if she lets them run around as she sits on the bench with a coffee, she’s neglectful.

If she breastfeeds and doesn’t produce enough milk, and her baby isn’t thriving, then she’s a failure. But when she adds formula, she’s more of a failure because “breast is best.”

If she stays home with her kids, she should be working—"how can her family financially keep up?” But if she's working, she's met with "they're only little once."

If she hasn't lost the postpartum weight, "gosh, she let herself go." But if she did, "wow, she must not eat and spend hours at the gym instead of being with her children.”

In a society that knows “everything” and places too many expectations on moms,
If you listen to everyone else,
you’re always going to be a “bad parent.”

So, DON’T LISTEN.

Throw those internalized unrealistic expectations away,
and do what’s best for you and your family.

It’s called “your family” for a reason.

Besides, if you love your children and try,
you’re a good mom.

"From the moment I entered this world, my parents, Reshma and Amit Jagasia, knew my path would be unique. Despite the initial uncertainty surrounding Down Syndrome, they embraced it with love and dedication.

My mother vividly recalls the intuition she felt throughout her pregnancy; a subtle yet undeniable sense that something was different. It was as if I, even before my birth, communicated with her and guided her with an unspoken assurance.

Upon my birth, the diagnosis was confirmed, and my parents embarked on a journey that would shape our lives forever.

Recognising the importance of early intervention, they devoted themselves to my growth, spending countless hours each day in therapy sessions.

Through occupational, physical, and speech therapy, they nurtured my abilities, enabling me to flourish despite the challenges I faced.

As I grew, so did my dreams. Supported by my family’s belief in me, I started baking, discovering a newfound passion that ignited my creativity and independence.

Now, as a budding baker and aspiring model, I want to inspire others. I believe everyone deserves a chance to shine, and I’m determined to walk the ramp for Gucci someday.

With my family's love and the support of those who believe in me, I’m ready to chase my dreams and prove that everyone has a place in this world."
