Laparoscopic kidney surgery in children

This 5 year young child presented with right side upper abdomen mass. Evaluation showed right giant hydronephrosis with non functioning kidney secondary to PUJO. We did laproscopic surgery for removal of this mass at Clearmedi Hospital Noida. The patient could be discharged in 4 days and this is after 10 days when stiches were removed.

Kidney surgery in children may be needed for such cases, PUJO repair - pyeloplasty, kidney stones and pediatric kidney tumours.
