In the previous video, we discussed what endometriosis is. Now, Dr. Sindhu Kosaraju from Sasya Fertility Centre explains how it can affect fertility and what steps to take if diagnosed.

📌 How Endometriosis Affects Fertility:
• Endometrial tissue grows outside the uterus—on ovaries, tubes, or behind the uterus.
• It can reduce egg quality when affecting the ovaries.
• Blocked fallopian tubes prevent egg movement, affecting conception.
• If it spreads to the uterus, it may lead to Adenomyosis, causing pain and discomfort during in*******se.
• These changes can interfere with pregnancy and cause infertility.

📌 What You Should Know:
• If diagnosed and you haven't completed family planning, try for pregnancy early.
• Surgery can remove affected tissue, but regrowth is common.
• After childbirth, medications may ease pain and slow recurrence.
• It can’t be fully cured—timely planning and treatment are essential.

In this video, Dr. Sindhu Kosaraju from Sasya Fertility Centre explains endometriosis in simple terms.

Each month, a thick lining forms inside the uterus (endometrium) to support pregnancy. If pregnancy doesn’t happen, this lining breaks down and comes out as menstrual bleeding.

In some cases, this endometrial tissue grows outside the uterus—on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or behind the uterus. This condition is known as endometriosis.

📌 What happens in endometriosis:
• This tissue thickens and bleeds just like it would inside the uterus.
• But outside the uterus, the blood has no way to exit the body.
• It forms clots or cysts that stick to nearby organs.
• Over time, this causes pain, bloating, inflammation, and even infertility.

If you’re facing repeated period pain, pelvic discomfort, or fertility issues, don’t ignore it.

In this video, Dr. Sindhu Kosaraju from Sasya Fertility Centre explains the essential care steps during early menopause. This phase can bring hormonal shifts, bone health risks, and fertility concerns—making timely intervention crucial.

If childbearing is not yet complete, it's important to consult a fertility expert before menopause advances. For women past family planning, the focus shifts to bone strength through weight-bearing exercises like walking or light dumbbell training, along with a calcium- and vitamin D-rich diet.

If symptoms like hot flashes, vaginal dryness, or urogenital discomfort are severe, speak with a gynecologist. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) may be prescribed. These medications help balance hormone levels and should be taken only under proper medical supervision.

In this video, Dr. Sindhu Kosaraju from Sasya Fertility Centre explains when menstruation is considered abnormal and the signs to watch for. While cycles may vary, changes in timing, flow, or duration could need medical attention.

📌 What is considered abnormal menstruation?
• Normal cycle length is typically 28–30 days.
• A variation of ±7 days is acceptable.
• If periods occur before 21 days or after 35 days, it is considered abnormal.

📌 Types of abnormal menstrual bleeding:
• Oligomenorrhea – Very light or short-duration bleeding (e.g., only one day or very scanty). This needs evaluation to identify any underlying cause.
• Menorrhagia – Heavy menstrual bleeding that lasts more than 7 days or significantly affects daily activities. Symptoms may include:
- Passage of clots
- Frequent pad changes
- Fatigue or inability to perform daily routines

These issues may signal hormonal imbalance, PCOS, or fibroids—get evaluated by Dr. Sindhu Kosaraju at Sasya Fertility Centre.
