White patches on your child’s face? 🤍👶
Don’t panic — in many cases, they are common and treatable.

White spots on children’s skin can be due to nutritional deficiencies, dry skin (pityriasis alba), mild fungal infections, or sun exposure. Not every white patch is a serious skin disease.

If you notice:
✔ Light-colored patches on cheeks
✔ Mild dryness or scaling
✔ No itching or pain

A proper pediatric evaluation can help identify the exact cause and guide the right treatment.

Early care ensures healthy, glowing skin for your little one.

Watch the full video to understand the reasons behind white patches in children.

🚨 PARENTS – THIS IS A LIFE SAVING WARNING 🚨
Paraquat is one of the most DEADLY poisons.
Even a small amount can cause:
☠ Severe lung damage
☠ Kidney failure
☠ Multi-organ failure
☠ Death
Many families keep it at home unknowingly.
One accidental sip by a child… and the damage begins immediately.
⚠ Golden Period is just 6 HOURS.
Emergency treatment including hemodialysis must be started immediately to have any chance of survival.

By the time symptoms become severe… it may already be too late.
👉 Do NOT store Paraquat at home.
👉 Keep all agricultural chemicals away from children.
👉 Store toxic substances locked and out of reach.
As a Pediatric Intensivist, I have seen how devastating this poison can be.
Prevention is the only real cure.
Remove Paraquat from your home today.
Your child’s life is priceless.

🚫 Stop Replacing One Junk With Another!
As a Pediatrician, I see this every day…
Parents remove chips 🍟
But replace them with packaged “healthy” snacks 😟
Let’s do it RIGHT ✅

🍟 Chips ➡️ 🥜 Roasted peanuts / makhana
🍫 Chocolate ➡️ 🍌 Banana with peanut butter
🍦 Ice cream daily ➡️ 🥭 Frozen fruit smoothie
🍜 Instant noodles ➡️ 🥣 Vegetable upma / poha / egg dosa
🥤 Soft drinks ➡️ 🥥 Coconut water / lemon water
Remember 👇
Children don’t need fancy diet food.
They need real food.
✔️ Fresh
✔️ Homemade
✔️ Seasonal
✔️ Simple
As a Pediatrician, I always tell parents:
Your child’s future health is built in your kitchen — not in supermarket packets.
Small swaps today = Strong immunity tomorrow 💪

5 Antibiotic Rules Every Parent MUST Know
Are you giving your child antibiotics correctly?
• Improper Dilution: Why you must fill the water exactly to the mark on the dry syrup bottle.
• Mixing with Milk: The reason why antibiotics should be given "plain" without any additives.
• Ignoring Storage Instructions: How temperature (refrigeration vs. room temp) affects the medicine's potency.
• Using Old Medicine: Why you must discard antibiotics exactly 7 days after opening.
• Self-Medication: The hidden dangers of reusing a previous prescription for a new infection.
Protect your child’s immunity and ensure they get the right dose every time by following these expert tips!

🚨 Are Food Colours Safe for Kids? Think Again!
That bright red candy 🍬
That neon orange drink 🧃
That colorful cake icing 🎂
They look fun…

But do you know what’s inside?

⚠️ Many artificial food colours are linked to:
• Hyperactivity & poor concentration
• Behavioral issues
• Sleep disturbances
• Allergic reactions & rashes
• Worsening of ADHD symptoms
• Stomach pain & headaches

The most commonly used synthetic colours in junk foods include:
🔴 Tartrazine (Yellow 5)
🔴 Sunset Yellow
🔴 Carmoisine
🔴 Brilliant Blue
These are commonly found in:
❌ Candies
❌ Bakery items
❌ Packaged juices
❌ Ice creams
❌ Chips & processed snacks
As a pediatric doctor, I say this clearly 👇
👉 Kids don’t need colourful junk.
👉 They need colourful fruits & vegetables.
🥕🍓🥦 Nature gives better colours — and better health.

Parents, please read labels carefully.
If the ingredient list has too many colour codes — put it back.

Healthy childhood is more important than attractive packaging.

Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is a heart condition present at birth that can affect a child’s growth, breathing, and overall development. Early diagnosis through newborn screening, timely pediatric cardiology consultation, and proper treatment can significantly improve outcomes. Awareness among parents is key to recognizing early warning signs like poor feeding, bluish lips, fast breathing, or poor weight gain. Early intervention saves lives.
