DARK CHOCOLATE COMPOUND is used in all the bakeries and confectioneries to make yummy cakes🎂, puddings, pies🥧, muffins, pastries🍰, pancakes and what not!
Just imagine the calories and sugar going in your body😳. Aur keval chocolate to khaoge nahi, sath me uske bread🥖 bhi hogi, which is again made from refined flour and sugar! Not to forget, the icing, cherries🍒, chocolate sauce etc on the cake that add to the calories, fat and sugar part!🥹
We did our own research📝 and found out that a stick kulfi is typically of 60 g. So, if we compare 60 g of the Indian delicacy kulfi😋 with the same amount of dark compound chocolate, we get a huuuuuuge calorie difference of 274 calories!
That's an insane figure!😵💫
IS A COMPOUND OF CHOCOLATE THAT BAD?
A compound of Dark Chocolate is made up of everything but dark chocolate! 😏
1) SUGAR
Guess the primary component in dark chocolate compound🤔? We bet you would say its Dark Chocolate🥺! But no! Its sugar!🤓
60 g compound of dark chocolate contains 30.24 g sugar!😭
Kulfi on the other hand has just 4.68 g sugar.😋
2) EDIBLE VEGETABLE FAT
The dark chocolate compound contains hydrogenated vegetable oils🛢️ which are harmful for heart🫀 health, taking the total fat content to a dangerous☠️ figure of 21.66 g per 60 g. If we talk about a stick of kulfi, it contains just 3.78 g fat!
3) COCOA SOLIDS
The part that remains after cocoa butter is extracted- Cocoa solids, the characteristic ingredient, the most important part😈 of chocolate comes third in the ingredient list! 😟
4) EMULSIFIERS 492, 332
Market wali KULFI on the other hand has milk solids followed by sugar, and nuts like cashews, almonds🌰 and pistachios.
Although it also contains emulsifiers and stabilizers, synthetic food colour and added flavour. So, we won’t say it’s the best choice,🥹 but its still much much better than a compound of dark chocolate.😋
