Samtosa Yoga

Samtosa Yoga I started practicing Yoga in USA where lots of time Yoga is offered as a workout. So, that´s what it was – a little bit like Aerobic and yet different. Namasté

Without being able to put a thumb to it the practice did something new to me. Thanks to my very first teacher Kenn Chambers for this experience. After I returned back to Germany I kept looking for exactly the same thing. It took me a long time and even more teachers to realize there will never gonna be exactly the same thing. Today it looks like the way has been the aim. My favorite practice is so

mething between dynamic and stillness. Linking movement and breath is the one thing that makes it special to me. Thanks Claudia Fernando for opening that door for me. In 2011 I finished a 4 years teacher training at the Mandala Yoga Akademie in Wetzlar, Germany. Again thanks to the whole team for your support and all-around education. Since Yoga changes and developes all the time, being a student never ends. I´m still curious what´s around the corner. Therefore I attended a Yin Yoga Teachers Training with Sebastian Pucelle and Murielle Burellier in 2014. It´s been an interesting insight into another approach of practicing. I studied with Eberhard Bärr, Roselyn Colin, Beate Cuson, Doris Echlin, Helga Pfretschner, Sriram, Barbra Noh etc. and owned a little Yogastudio in Germany before I moved to Bangkok. Here I am, very excited to find out what comes next.

About me

I attended my first Yoga class in 2002 while living in the US.

Lot’s has changed since then. In my life, my practice and my teaching.

That’s, in my personal experience, the most valuable difference between Yoga and common workouts, which unfortunately Yoga i soften „sold“ as these days by the still growing Yoga-industry:
