Hepatitis virus, which afflicts one-third of the world's population, is increasing to an extent day by day. There are alot such deadly viruses and one of them is Hepatitis. One can keep themselves safe by getting themselves Vaccinated.
Hepatitis is one of such viruses that can affect an individual to an extent, but many people did not understand its seriousness in time and could not do anything after the passage of time.
There are 4 types of hepatitis - A, B, C and E. The reason for being all four is different. Hepatitis A, C and E can be treated if detected early, but this is not true for hepatitis B. Once someone is infected with Hepatitis B and is aware of it, they can only reduce but not completely eliminate its effect even with proper treatment.
95% of patients do not show any symptoms of this virus. They come to know that they are infected with this virus when their liver is damaged by 75% or more. There are a lot of harmful effects of this disease, liver fever being one of them, but apart from liver failure, this virus can also cause painful diseases like liver cancer.
There can be many reasons behind the infection of hepatitis B such as unprotected s*x with a person infected with the virus, reuse of needles used by them, transfusion of infected blood and pregnant mother to child, etc.
It is very surprising that one third of the world's population has been infected with Hepatitis B virus and this figure is increasing day by day.
It is very important to treat this virus before this virus reaches your body. There are vaccinations available in hospitals for this, which can protect you from this deadly virus. Apart from the treatment, it is also very important to take care that you are not using someone else’s stuff that can be contaminated such as a razor, toothbrush, or needle. While getting an ear piercing and tattoo done, make sure that it is perfectly sanitized. Always take care of safety while having s*x with an unknown person and immediately consult a doctor as soon as symptoms appear.
Those who are affected by Hepatitis are already suffering a lot and still, the society does not make any of it easier for them. People constantly judge them or treat them differently in a very bad manner. It requires a lot of courage to fight against such deadly diseases and when one does not get any support or empathy from others, it makes it a thousand times difficult for them to keep fighting. The main reason of such behavior of society toward an affected person is their lack of awareness and lack of knowledge about the disease.
To make people aware so that they can take timely vaccinations, take precautions to protect themselves and improve their attitude towards patients with the disease, the United Nations declared 28 July as World Hepatitis Day. Every country tries on this day to tell people as much as possible about this virus, its symptoms, treatment so that one day the dream of hepatitis free world can become a reality.
