Nothing is more joyous than your patient seeing clearly after a difficult cataract surgery.
It's not just the vision that improves,but also the overall confidence of the patient too!
When treating a patient,we just don't see him or her as another person walking into our OPD.Everyone has different condition,different expectations and there is also the family which is obviously anxious. By treating them like our own , mutual trust builds in,after all we all are human beings at the end of the day.

When our post surgery patient visits us with a goodie bag,it makes our hearts so full🙏🤗
The blessings, the appreciation, the trust motivates us to do even better.
It makes a busy OPD and a hectic OT worthwhile 😊.

PS maam was operated for cataract with a premium IOL(EDOF lens) and now she doesn't need any glasses.

Medicine is ever evolving and conferences are a great platform for knowledge sharing.
The Haryana Ophthalmological Society (HOS) conference was a wonderfully organized event with a good faculty.
It was also a silent conference, one of it's kind,wherein everyone wore headphones.
Had the honor of chairing a session on cataract surgery and the newer intraocular lenses.
Meeting friends and colleagues was cherry on the top.

Modern day cataract surgery is not just about clearing the cloudy vision .....with the advent of the new techniques youthful vision can be restored too!
Newer type of intraocular lens can help a patient say goodbye to glasses for far and near vision too.
One of our patients operatef for both eyes with the advanced EDOF lens shares her experience.
