From wheelchair to walking independently.

She was diagnosed with a brain tumour and given negligible chances of recovery. She could have resigned to her fate, but she is a fighter. The first surgery lasted 12 hours, was on ventilator for 2 days, and could not eat anything for 3 months. It wasn't over yet. The second surgery after 3 months lasted 8 hours. Then began the daunting rehabilitation part. All through her journey, her family stood strong. In the end, it was all worth it.
She is now walking independently, eating well, and looking forward to a healthier future.

من الكرسي المتحرك إلى المشي باستقلالية.

شُخِّصت مريضة بورم في الدماغ، وقيل ان حالتها مأيوس منها وكان عليها الاستسلام لمصيرها، لكنها ضلت صامدة واملها بالشفاء كبير … وبالفعل تم اجراء العملية الاولى واستغرقت الجراحة ١٢ ساعة، وظلت على جهاز التنفس الصناعي ليومين، ولم تستطع تناول أي طعام لمدة ٣ أشهر ، و الجراحة الثانية تمت بعد ٣ أشهر واستمرت ٨ ساعات. ومن بعدها بدأت مرحلة إعادة التأهيل الشاقة… وطوال رحلتها العلاجية كانت هي وعاءلتها صامدين وصابرين وفي النهاية، كان الأمر يستحق كل هذا العناء.
وهي الآن تمشي باستقلالية، وتتناول طعامًا صحيًا، وتتطلع إلى مستقبل أكثر وبصحة افضل.

Brain tumours in children can present very late as children may not be able to express their problems clearly. In a child with a brain tumour that I recently operated on, she had become almost blind before her parents started to realize the problem. She never complained about anything.
Parents need to observe day to day activities of children carefully to look for signs of early problems. Any activity that a child was able to perform well earlier and is facing problems now with the same, needs evaluation. It may not turn out to be a big problem, but it's always better to play safe.

قد لاتظهر اعراض اورام الدماغ عند الاطفال الا في حالات متاخرة جدا وقد لايلاحظها الاباء لعدم قدرة الاطفال التعبير عن مشاكلهم واعراضهم.. تم مؤخرا وبنجاح تام استئصال ورم في الدماغ لطفلة بعد ان فقدت البصر وقبل ان يدركوا والداها المشكلة …ولهذا ننصح الاباء بمراقبة انشطة اطفالهم اليومية بعناية واخذ الحذر من اي تغير ولو بسيط في نشاطهم
اليومي وتصرفاتهم لغرض التشخيص والعلاج المبكر…
