Are "cheat meals" and "cheat days" acceptable?
Does that imply that in order to lose weight, we must consume a diet devoid of vitamins, flavors, and happiness? Without a doubt.
When we have to "break" or "cheat" on our diet, it must be rather off to begin with. This way of thinking implies that something must be missing from our regular diet for us to crave other meals so much.
This kind of thinking implies that there are "good" foods and "bad" foods, which for some reason cannot both be included in a diet at the same time.
Focus on eating in a way that helps you FEEL good rather than allowing diet culture to maintain a set of rules on what and how to eat.
Include foods that are healthy for your body and soul; you'll feel much better as a result.
