Shloka 2.59 :- Aspirants may restrain the senses from their objects of enjoyment, but the taste for the sense objects remains. However, even this taste ceases for those who realize the Supreme.

Analysis :- Let us understand this shloka by example.
A person loves to eat veg burger. Than he is advised by doctors to stop eating it for health reasons.
He stops eating it..but his thoughts will go to veg burger regularly... ( Example of self control by human but mind is not in control )

Here krishna says to realize god a person has to get over worldly pleasures in life.
To get mind over worldly pleasures a person has to follow path of god and realize him.
( It is like miss universe or mr. universe standing next to you and your mind registers there presence as zero)

Text :- The key difference between indian and western culture is how we view money and life.

Explanation :- Hindu concept of life is based on soul moving out of life and death cycle after death.
Here God plays a very important role.

Western life is based on enjoying life to fullest.
Here money, position, power etc plays a very important role.

Text :- We sing the glory of Sri Krsna, who is all truth, all consciousness and all bliss, who is responsible for the creation, sustenance and destruction of the universe.

Explanation :- The above line explains who lord krishna is.

1. It is very clearly written lord krishna creates the materialistic world or galaxy we are living in ++ ensures there is life in it ++ finally the world created is destroyed.
( The law of universe is anything that gets created will get destroyed one day including earth)

2. Lord krishna is a bliss means he is infinite reseivor of pleasure so if you pray to him he rewards you with happiness.

3. Krishna is truth means his existence cannot be challenged.

4. Krishna is all consiousness means he can hear, eat, smell etc.

Few clarifications before we proceed ahead...

1. Gita is a book where lord krishna explains science of god. ( What is god ..how to acheive it )
2. We have followed highest of learned saints Ved Vyas as reference on krishna.
3. Saint Ved Vyas has given no mention of radha hence lord krishna can be prayed alone or with mother rukmani.
4. Please buy Gita from Gita press for authentic understanding of gita is our suggestion.

Lord swaminarayan and lord krishna strature in spiritual world is same or parallel.

So far we have covered few of his teachings and basic life.

We will move forward on same.

Teaching :- Lord swaminarayan did lot of non voilent yagnas in his lifetime.

Anaylsis :- We will understand concept of yagna..

1. Yagna is fire or heat energy...as fire is lit.
2. Yagna has mantra recitied so it is sound energy.
3. Yagna has food offerings ..hence quenches hunger.

All the above 3 when done as a process creates blessings of gods on human mankind from spiritual world.

Non voilent means no blood shed.

Lord swaminarayan was bringing blessings to his devotees via spiritual world by doing yagna.

Shloka 2.58 :-One who is able to withdraw the senses from their objects, just as a tortoise withdraws its limbs into its shell, is established in divine wisdom.

Anaylsis :- Divine wisdom means perfect knowledge.
Perfect knowledge means knowing science of god and having ability to follow the knowledge.

Here krishna says if a person can have total control on his senses or desires in life and have complete focus on krishna than he is living life of divine wisdom.

Here krishna gives example of tortoise and his limbs which are compared to the 5 senses. The tortoise has complete control on itself and withdraws his limbs within his shell as and when required.

Positive energy and materialistic energy to create the universe.
Chinese call it yin and yang.

This is concept of good and bad in this world.

Hindu call materialistic energy maya.
