Important Update for Students in Psychology & Allied Health Fields!

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued a major directive:

From the July–August 2025 academic session, no higher education institution in India will be permitted to offer Psychology or other healthcare/allied programmes (like Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food & Nutrition Science, Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics) in Online or ODL (Open and Distance Learning) mode.

This exam isn’t just about academics.

It’s about showing up with discipline, focus, and resilience even when everything in you feels exhausted.

If you cleared it celebrate boldly.That’s a huge achievement, and you deserve every bit of it.

If you didn’t ,breathe.

I had the honour of being the Chief Guest at the inauguration of a dedicated Counselling Room at Sushant University, Gurugram, a meaningful step towards building a culture of care and compassion on campus.

It was a privilege to share this moment with Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor, who graced the event as the Guest of Honour.

A special thanks to Dr. Elina Ma’am, Head of the Department of Psychology, for her vision and leadership in making this initiative possible.

This thoughtfully designed space aims to promote mental well-being and offer students a safe, non-judgmental environment to seek support and speak freely.

Kudos to Sushant University and the Department of Psychology for this much-needed step toward accessible, student-friendly mental health care. Wishing the entire team continued success!
