The day was marked with pride, joy, and vibrant participation under the theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist”.

Herbokon Club, under the aegis of SGT College of Pharmacy, successfully organized a workshop on
“Beyond the Lab: Building a Career in Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance” on 22nd September 2025.
We were honored to have Dr. Sakshi Rastogi, Chief Operations Officer, Synapmed Global Private Limited, as the Guest Speaker. Her insightful session enlightened students and faculty about the dynamic career opportunities in drug safety and pharmacovigilance, highlighting the importance of industry-ready skills and the crucial role of pharmacovigilance in advancing healthcare.
💡 The workshop not only broadened awareness but also inspired participants to explore professional pathways aligned with the pharmaceutical industry.

SGTMCH-AMC and Ally of Pharmaceutical Information organized a workshop on “Patient Safety” to mark the 5th National Pharmacovigilance Week on September 19, 2025, at SGT College of Pharmacy, SGT University, Gurugram. Guided by senior leadership and coordinated by faculty members, the event featured expert talks by Mr. Vipin Kumar (Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi) and Mr. Tushar Khanna (Continuum India LLP, Chandigarh). The sessions highlighted the vital role of pharmacy professionals in strengthening patient safety, the importance of robust pharmacovigilance practices, and the need for timely reporting of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) to improve healthcare outcomes. The workshop enriched students and faculty with insights into evolving opportunities in pharmacovigilance and patient care.
