😔Feeling stressed?
👉Deep breathing (in and around belly) can provide instant relief. Unlike shallow upper chest breathing, deep breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation.
To practice, inhale slowly through the nose, allowing the belly area, sides of lower chest and back to rise, and exhale slowly through the nose or mouth. When done from mouth - purse your lips or gently say a longer "huh".
This technique can help reduce stress, improve focus, enhance sleep, and lower blood pressure.

There are various ways breathing exercises can be done to reduce stress. It's always better to get it customized for you.

🤔 Do you practice any breathing exercise at the time of stress? Let me know in comments.
