This gap in access can have life-threatening consequences, especially for treatable diseases like malaria, pneumonia, and diarrheal infections, major causes of childhood mortality.
Expanding access to essential medicines is not just a supply chain issue. It is a matter of health equity, child survival, and system-wide accountability.
