Blepharospasms are involuntary eyelid twitching or blinking caused by abnormal muscle contractions around the eyes.
Side Effects:
1. Frequent Eyelid Twitching
Involuntary blinking or twitching that may worsen with stress, fatigue, or bright lights.
2. Eye Irritation
Dryness, burning, or a gritty sensation due to excessive blinking or incomplete blinking.

“The best part about our profession is that it constantly challenges us to grow — to learn something new, master it, and then share the art with others.

That’s exactly what we did in our recent workshop, ‘Decoding Iris Claw Lenses and Scleral Fixated Lenses
These are intraocular lenses used when the regular ones can’t be implanted because of trauma or complicated surgeries.

I had the privilege of delivering two sessions:

• A lecture on mastering the art of Iris Claw Lens implantation, and
• Another on the Yamane technique of Scleral Fixation.
