A new chapter begins for Community Park, Gharghoda.

The Bhumi Pujan for the park’s renovation was held in the presence of Shri Radheshyam Rathiya ji, MP Raigarh, along with local dignitaries and community members.

Parks and public spaces are often where communities come together, where children play, families spend time, and everyday connections are built. The renovation of the park is a step towards creating a more welcoming and vibrant space for the people of Gharghoda.

Growing up comes with many questions, yet conversations around health, nutrition, and self care are often left unsaid.

Creating space for these conversations early can make a meaningful difference in how young girls understand and care for themselves.

Through Kishori Express, these discussions are reaching adolescent girls at an important stage of their lives, helping them build awareness, confidence, and healthier habits for the future.

Through the Chiranjeevi Project, children across villages in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand are receiving daily nutritional support along with regular growth monitoring to help identify and address malnutrition early on.

But the change goes beyond nutrition alone. Families are also becoming more aware of everyday practices around hygiene, nutrition, and childcare, creating healthier environments for children to grow up in.

Over the years, the initiative has supported more than 1 lakh children and helped thousands move towards a healthier future.

Somewhere within all of us lives Dhoni’s calmness, Tendulkar’s spark, or Kohli’s fire. But for many children in rural India, that love for cricket has mostly lived in gullies, open fields, and makeshift pitches. The dream was never missing, only the chance to take it further.

At the OP Jindal Cricket Academy in Raigarh, young cricketers, both boys and girls, are getting that chance every single day. With proper coaching, practice grounds, tournaments, and the support to keep showing up, they are learning to play with more confidence and believe a little more in where the game can take them.

What begins as practice on the field slowly becomes something bigger with discipline, confidence and teamwork!

Every medal has a story behind it.

It begins with the courage to keep showing up, the excitement of discovering something new and the confidence that grows stronger with every step forward.

Across our ASHA Centres, children with special needs are training, competing, and making their mark at all levels.

And every milestone along the way deserves to be celebrated.

Art has always held communities together in ways words often cannot.

It lives in shared celebrations, in music that echoes through villages, and in dance forms that carry generations of history, identity, and belonging within them. Whether it is a classical performance on stage or the energy of a tribal folk tradition, every art form tells the story of people and the roots they continue to hold close.

For rural communities especially, these traditions are deeply connected to everyday life, but many of these art forms today face the risk of slowly fading away due to limited support and changing times.

Through our continued efforts across Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand, the Jindal Foundation has been working towards preserving and strengthening these cultural traditions by supporting local festivals, ethnic theatre groups, Sankirtan Mandals, Dandanurtya groups, and other community-led cultural spaces.

These efforts go beyond preserving performances alone. They help nurture pride within communities, encourage younger generations to stay connected to their heritage, and ensure that indigenous art and culture continue to thrive with dignity.

When innovation reaches the right hands, it can change the way people learn, grow and thrive every day.

A visually impaired learner reading independently, children discovering science through experimentation, or farmers making more informed decisions with better access to tools and information, technology can make opportunities more accessible, inclusive and empowering for all.

A mother’s care travels with her through everyday moments where someone needs guidance, reassurance, or support.

The same care with which she raises her own children quietly reaches many others too, shaping healthier families, stronger communities, and brighter futures along the way.

This Mother’s Day is a reminder to look beyond the role and truly see her as a person with a world of her own, one that continues to grow, evolve and inspire every day.

Khel kood mein kya rakha hai?
Bahut kuch.

Confidence, friendships, discipline, and the joy of finding your place, all begin somewhere on the field.

As more children get the chance to be part of sports, World Athletics Day reminds us how important it is to create spaces where every child feels welcomed, encouraged, and free to dream bigger.

On a national stage where every point counts, Sanjali Oram delivered a composed and consistent performance, securing a bronze medal in the Sub-Junior Girls Indian Round at the National Archery Championship in Guntur. This marks her second consecutive podium finish, a reflection of the steady effort behind her journey, supported and nurtured along the way.

Rupali Kisan also represented Odisha at the national level for the first time, stepping into a competitive arena with determination and a strong willingness to learn and grow.

Together, these moments reflect how consistent training, guidance, and the right support systems come together to shape young athletes as they step onto larger stages.

Every step in dance carries a story of where we come from and what connects us. Across cultures, it becomes a shared expression that brings people together in powerful ways. For many, it is also a way to preserve and pass on tradition.

Smt. Shallu Jindal, through her practice of Kuchipudi, embodies grace, discipline, and storytelling, carrying its essence forward with every movement.

On International Dance Day, we celebrate every art form that continues to unite us.
