Most of what hurts us isn’t real—it’s imagined. The mind picks up one incident and builds a full script around it.
They didn’t reply… maybe they’re upset.
They spoke less today… maybe they’ve changed.
They forgot something… maybe they don’t care anymore.

This is how stories begin.
And stories steal peace.

So I’ve begun a new discipline… mental honesty. Before believing my thoughts, I check them.

Is this true?
Or is this just my fear?
Is this fact?
Or my assumption?

Truth is quiet, clean and light. Stories are noisy, heavy and dramatic. The moment I return to truth, the mind settles. Relationships heal. Energy shifts. Clarity returns.

No more adding emotion where it isn’t needed. No more overthinking. No more mental movies.
