These desi foods have long been trusted to support lactation and science agrees!

🍃 Methi seeds – help stimulate milk production
🌿 Saunf (fennel) – soothes digestion and supports milk flow
🥥 Coconut – full of healthy fats for rich breast milk
🥕 Carrots & papaya – rich in beta-carotene and hydration
🍲 Drumsticks – loaded with iron & calcium
🌾 Oats – a go-to galactagogue full of fiber
🍯 Gond ke laddoos – the OG postpartum power snack
💪 Halim seeds (garden cress) – rich in iron and lactation-supporting compounds

However, consistency, hydration, rest, and baby’s demand are just as important.

Share this to a new mom ❤️

Breastfeeding works on demand and supply. Every suckle signals your body: “Hey, we need more milk here!”

So yes, frequent breastfeeding or pumping actually boosts milk production. It’s not about timing, it’s about trusting your baby and your body.

So don’t worry if your baby wants to feed often, they’re just helping you make more of the good stuff. 🍼💕

While every mother’s body is beautifully unique, there are some simple, natural ways to support your breast milk supply.

💬 Save this for later, share it with a new mama, and remember, your body knows what it’s doing. Trust it. Nourish it. Rest it.

No, mama, you don’t have to drink milk to make milk.

Your body makes breast milk from your blood, not the milk you drink.

It needs hydration, balanced nutrition, rest, and demand from baby, not gallons of dairy.

So if you’re lactose intolerant, vegan, or just hate milk… guess what? You can still exclusively breastfeed like a boss. 💪

💬 Tag a new mama who’s tired of hearing “doodh pioge toh doodh aayega.”

On this National Doctors' Day and World Social Media Day, I find myself reflecting on an unusual intersection: medicine and social media.

It wasn’t always easy stepping into the world of reels, hashtags, and algorithms along with my hectic work of being a surgeon and a practicing doctor. But when misinformation spreads faster than facts, a doctor has to adapt - not for likes, but for lives.

Because your health deserves more than 15-second hacks or trending soundbites.
It deserves nuance, science, and someone who won’t sell you fear or fads.

Every post I share is an effort to simplify healthcare- not sensationalize it. To remind people that healing takes time, knowledge, and honesty. And that real doctors are still the best influencers your health can have.

Let’s make science louder than speculation.
Let’s make credibility trend.
Let’s use this digital world to build healthier ones.

This Father’s Day, we celebrate more than just the man who showed up, we honor the one who stayed.

Who spoke even when he didn’t have the right words.
Who listened without judgment.
Who chose presence over pride.

To the father who said period without whispering.
Who taught his daughter that her no is sacred, and her voice isn’t too much, it’s just enough.

You are raising more than a child.
You are shaping how she sees herself.
You are helping build a future where daughters don’t just survive , they thrive, because they were seen, heard, and loved exactly as they are.

Here’s to the fathers who are unlearning, relearning, and raising revolutions. ❤️

They say motherhood changes everything and they’re right.

It changes your body, your heart, your strength, your limits. But no one tells you how much it also changes your silence into courage, your doubts into resilience, and your tired eyes into a gaze that holds the whole world.

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the quiet power, the healing, and the growth that motherhood brings, not just in raising a child, but in becoming a new version of yourself.

To every mother who is new, expecting, healing, grieving.

Remember, you are seen, you are strong, and you are never alone.
