This World Menopause Day, the theme is Lifestyle Medicine — because menopause care isn’t only about hormones, it’s about how you live every day.

Simple, sustainable habits can ease hot flashes, improve sleep and mood, support your heart and bones, and protect long-term health.
Think nourishing food, regular movement, restful sleep, and mindful self-care — the pillars of a smoother menopause journey.

At Adrita Menopause Wellness, we believe in science-backed, compassionate care that meets women where they are.
If you’re navigating perimenopause or menopause and want guidance that fits your lifestyle, visit Adrita Menopause Wellness or DM us to book a consultation with Dr. Ankita Mittal.

This World Menopause Day, the theme is Lifestyle Medicine and Menopausal Health.
While Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) can be helpful for many women, it isn’t the only path to wellness. What truly matters are the five non-negotiable pillars of healthy living through menopause — balanced nutrition, regular exercise, mental well-being, avoiding harmful substances, and restorative sleep.

These foundations support every woman, whether she chooses HRT or not.
If symptoms are still affecting your daily life, don’t hesitate to reach out — expert help is available, and you don’t have to go through this alone.

Visit Adrita Menopause Wellness or DM us to book your consultation with Dr. Ankita Mittal.

Binge drinking affects your liver which in turn affects how your oral hormonal medicines are metabolised by the liver which ultimately affects your medicine’s efficacy. So if you are on oral hormonal replacement therapy (HRT- oral E2/ progesterone) or oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) then please either avoid alcohol or restrict to 1-2 drinks to make sure your symptom control (HRT) or your contraceptive benefits (OCPs) aren’t lost.
Take care and enjoy the festive weekend!!! 🥳🎉🎊✨✨

Heard mixed things about Hormone Replacement Therapy? Let’s clear the air.

HRT isn’t as risky as it’s often made out to be. When started around menopause and tailored to your health needs, it can ease hot flashes, improve sleep, balance mood, and support bone and heart health.

The key is personalised, evidence-based care — not fear or guesswork. Swipe through to separate HRT myths from facts and learn what modern menopause science says today.

If you’re struggling with menopause or perimenopause symptoms, visit Adrita Menopause Wellness or DM us to book your consultation with Dr. Ankita Mittal and our women’s health experts.

Still avoiding HRT because of what you’ve heard? Let’s get real with what recent research is showing. 🧬

A UK meta-analysis in BMJ found that newer HRT formulations have a lower breast cancer risk than older combined types, especially with shorter duration of use.

Studies show long-term weight gain (pre- and post-menopause) increases breast cancer risk in both HRT users and non-users — but HRT itself doesn’t cause weight gain. Properly managed, it can help muscle tone, energy, and overall health.

Don’t suffer in silence. Talk to an HRT-aware doctor, know your options, and make decisions based on facts — not fear.

It’s interesting how our relationship with hormones changes with age.
In our 20s and 30s, we take them easily — for PCOS, acne, or to regulate periods.
But in midlife, when our bodies actually need hormonal support, we suddenly see them as “dangerous.”

It’s time to change that conversation.
Let’s talk openly about menopause hormone therapy (HRT) — what it really is, who it helps, and why it’s not something to fear.

It was a joy to join the 10th anniversary celebration of I Am Well-being, a wonderful community of trauma-informed therapists I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with over the years. 💜

Menopause care and mental health are deeply connected — emotional wellbeing, stress, and past trauma can all influence how we experience midlife changes.

Grateful to be part of conversations that bridge physical and emotional healing — because true wellness means caring for both mind and body.
