Shelters are for treatment—not warehousing.
After the Supreme Court’s Aug 22 ruling, fit dogs must return to their localities (as per ABC Rules 2023).
As a society we should push for transparency at Rohini: open records, CCTV, independent vets, and daily release data.

Dogs deserve care—not cages, cruelty, and cover-ups. The Rohini ABC centre must be opened to independent audit, with daily logs, live CCTV, and transparent releases as per Supreme Court orders. No more hiding. No more suffering.

The Supreme Court has modified its earlier order on stray dogs. 🐾
From today (Aug 22, 2025), sterilised and vaccinated dogs will be returned to their localities, except if they are rabid or aggressive. Feeding must now be done only at designated zones.

This step balances public safety with animal welfare, while paving the way for a national stray dog policy.
