Yogic and Ayurvedic Approaches to Treat Bloating

Additional yoga poses that you can practice:
1) Seated Twist - Sit and twist your spine to one side. Massages your intestines and releases pressure
2) Child’s Pose - Kneel and fold forward, resting on your knees. Very gentle and calms your nervous system
3) Cat-Cow Pose - Move your spine back and forth slowly. Massages your stomach organs

(Hold each pose for 30-60 seconds. Do 5-10 slow breaths in each pose.)

Breathing Exercises (Pranayama) to Help Digestion:
1) Anulom Vilom (Alternate Nostril Breathing) - Calms your mind and helps digestion
2) Kapalbhat (Skull-Shining Breath) - Wakes up your digestive fire and clears toxins
3) Bhramari (Humming Bee Breath) - Calms your nervous system and reduces stress-related bloating

Ayurvedic Herbs That Remove Bloating: These are simple herbs you can use at home:

1) Ginger - Ginger tea after meals. Stokes digestive fire, helps food move through intestines
2) Fennel Seeds - Chew 1 teaspoon after eating. Removes gas from belly
3) Turmeric - Add to cooked foods. Reduces inflammation and pain
4) Cumin Seeds - Add to cooking or chew. Helps your body digest and absorb food
5) Triphala - Take 1 teaspoon at night with warm water. Removes toxins, strengthens digestion, balances all doshas
6) Peppermint Tea - Drink after meals. Relaxes stomach muscles
7) Ajwain (Carom) Seeds - Chew or add to food. Helps with digestion

Most important: Eat at the same time every day. Your body’s digestion becomes strongest when eating regularly.

If bloating is severe, consult a medical doctor or Ayurvedic practitioner for professional treatment.

When the mind keeps running, the body gets tired too.

Yoga doesn’t force the mind to stop.
It teaches you to sit, listen, soften, and support yourself with awareness and daily practice.
