Here’s why a teacher matters in a practitioner’s life:
•Safety first: A teacher sees what you can’t misalignment, strain, wrong breathing and helps prevent injury.
•Right progression: Yoga is a journey. A teacher knows when to introduce practices and when to hold back.
•Beyond imitation: Videos show forms; a teacher teaches understanding why you practice, not just how.
•Mind & breath guidance: Yoga works deeply on the nervous system. A teacher helps regulate this safely and steadily.
•Discipline & consistency: Regular guidance builds commitment when motivation fades.
•Inner growth: A teacher helps you move from doing yoga to living yoga.

Yoga was always transmitted teacher to student.

See you on the mat ✨

Why are we finding happiness?

Remember yourself as a child? Weren’t you happy when you were born? The smallest of things would bring joy to your being. Why?

Because you were yourself. Always centred, always being the real self not caring about the world on the edges.

In today’s world where our senses run wild to find happiness from the outer world which is bound to be temporary in nature, our heart needs to internalise. We need to realise that the more we stay inward, the more we see the real happiness prevailing in the centre of our self, the very core of existence.

Deep breathing is just a small example of mindfulness, a small practice that makes you feel so blissful within a few minutes by bringing you back to your centre, your self. Imagine living in that centre all your life.

Even if you derail, your consciousness brings you back home. That is the power of Yog.

It is not entirely your fault that these cravings arise.
Often, it is not hunger of the body… but signals of the mind and prana seeking balance.

When awareness is absent, we become easy consumers.

And the outer world is always ready to feed our unconscious patterns.

At Adhyatma Yog, we do not only teach Asana.

We guide you to read the subtle language of your body — the hormonal shifts, the emotional waves, the energetic imbalances. Because once you understand the root, the craving loses its control.

Here is how Yogic wisdom looks at it:

1️⃣ When Stress (Cortisol) rises
The heart seeks softness and connection.
🕊️ Sadhana: Deep breathing, meditation, gratitude, Surya darshan, and sattvic foods that gently uplift serotonin.

2️⃣ When Anger or Fear (Adrenaline) spikes
The body needs conscious release.
🔥 Sadhana: Strong Asana Abhyaas, dynamic flows, laughter, and mindful use of natural spices to awaken endorphins.

3️⃣ When Overwhelm (Norepinephrine) drains you
The mind seeks clarity and purpose.
🌿 Sadhana: Small disciplined goals, creative expression, devotional music, protein-rich nourishing meals.

4️⃣ When Loneliness (Oxytocin drop) appears
The soul seeks belonging.
🤍 Sadhana: Hugs, seva, shared meals, satsang, acts of kindness.

Pause and reflect —
Is it really food your body wants?
Or is it awareness your being is asking for?

🧘 For Intermediate: 5–6am IST | Mon–Fri | INR 1908 per month (Live + Recording Access)

Ayurveda is not a quick remedy created in a lab.
It is a science observed patiently through nature and life.

Your body also follows a clock, not the modern 9-5, but the rhythm of prakriti. As the day moves, the doshas shift, and the Surya and Chandra nadis alternate. One supports clarity and action, the other intuition and reflection. When your activities align with this natural cycle, the body works with you instead of against you.

Practising yoga early morning, especially around sunrise, brings the mind, breath and energy into harmony. The day feels steadier, clearer and more productive.

Join us, and let your day begin with awareness.
See you on the mat.

Before you worship Shiva… become still.
Before you chant His name… feel His presence.
Before you seek His blessings… align within.

On this Mahashivaratri, remember Shiva is not just a deity to be prayed to.
He is a state of consciousness.
We call Him Shiva The Adiyogi because He was the first Yogi, the originator of Yogic science.

It is believed that on the sacred night of Maha Shivaratri, Shiva transmitted the knowledge of yoga to the Saptarishis offering humanity a path from limitation to liberation.

Yoga is not exercise.
It is the doorway to stillness.
It is the first step toward experiencing Shiva within.
If you feel called to begin this journey
we are simply here to guide you.

Fastest way to meditate (even if your mind doesn’t stop)

Start with AUM chanting.
As you chant, feel the sound rise from your navel (Manipura Chakra) up to your heart (Anahata) and finally to your throat (Vishuddhi).
The vibration cleanses these energy centres, releasing stored emotions and balancing confidence, love, and expression.
Then listen to the silence that follows.
That silence is not emptiness, it’s awareness itself.
And that’s where meditation begins.

Even 10 minutes daily can transform your inner state.

To learn more such methods of meditation and other yoga practice be part of our online classes

Sometimes silence is wisdom.
Sometimes speaking up is dharma.

The pause in between is where clarity lives.

It is an invitation to observe before you react, to choose awareness over impulse, and to let wisdom not emotion lead your words.
