β€œPCOS is not just a hormone problem. It’s a stress + insulin problem too.”

Most women don’t know this:

Stress β†’ Cortisol ↑ β†’ Insulin resistance ↑ β†’ SHBG ↓ β†’ Free testosterone ↑

This is why:

Acne worsens
Hair growth increases
Periods become irregular

If you’re treating PCOS, stress management is not optionalβ€”it’s essential.

Your period is not supposed to control your life. If it does, something is wrong.

Most women spend years managing period symptoms they were told are "normal" β€” heavy bleeding, debilitating cramps, irregular cycles, spotting between periods. They take painkillers every month. They plan their lives around their cycle. They cancel plans, miss work and push through pain because nobody ever told them there was another option.

There isn't one type of abnormal period. There are five β€” and each one points to something different happening in your body.

Heavy periods that require changing protection every hour or two, or that last longer than 7 days, are one of the most common signs of fibroids or adenomyosis β€” conditions where the uterine tissue grows abnormally and causes excessive bleeding. Left untreated, they can lead to severe anaemia and fertility complications.

Painful periods β€” pain that goes beyond normal discomfort and bleeds into your daily life β€” are frequently linked to endometriosis, a condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus. Endometriosis affects roughly 1 in 10 women and takes an average of 7 to 10 years to diagnose in India because the pain is normalised.

Scanty periods β€” very light bleeding or cycles that seem to disappear β€” are often an early indicator of PCOS or a hormonal imbalance affecting ovulation.

Intermenstrual bleeding β€” spotting or bleeding between periods β€” should never be ignored. It can indicate cervical changes, polyps, or in some cases, early signs that require prompt investigation.

And any significant change in your cycle β€” in length, flow, timing or pain β€” after a period of regularity deserves a proper clinical evaluation, not a wait-and-see approach.

Watch the full reel for the complete breakdown. And if any of this sounds familiar, please don't wait another cycle to find out what's actually going on.

If you're between 11 and 14 weeks pregnant, stop scrolling. This is for you.

The NT-NB scan is one of the most important scans of your entire pregnancy β€” and most women either miss the window, do it too early, or don't fully understand what it's actually checking.
This scan looks at two things: the fluid at the back of your baby's neck, and whether your baby's nasal bone is visible. Together, these two markers give your doctor an early risk assessment for chromosomal conditions like Down syndrome, Edwards syndrome and Patau syndrome β€” in the first trimester, when you still have time to make informed decisions.

The window is 11 weeks to 13 weeks and 6 days. Not 10 weeks. Not 14 weeks and 2 days. That window exists for a clinical reason β€” and once it closes, it cannot be repeated.

Watch the full reel to understand exactly what this scan checks, why the timing is non-negotiable, and what your results actually mean.

"A UTI you ignored last week could be a kidney infection by next week. Here's what your body is trying to tell you β€” save this before you need it."

That burning sensation. The constant urge to p*e. The discomfort you keep brushing off as "not a big deal."

This is your body waving a red flag. 🚩
Here's what actually happens when a urine infection goes untreated πŸ‘‡
πŸ”Ί The bacteria that started in your bladder travels upward
πŸ”Ί It reaches your kidneys β€” and now it's no longer a simple UTI
πŸ”Ί You may start seeing blood in your urine
πŸ”Ί Fever, back pain, nausea follow
πŸ”Ί What needed 3 days of antibiotics now needs hospitalisation

Dr. Anam Ghani, Women's Health Specialist in Gurugram, explains exactly what symptoms to watch for β€” and when waiting is no longer an option.
Because too many women normalise the pain. Too many women wait. And too many women end up in a far worse place than they needed to be.
You don't have to be one of them. πŸ’›
πŸ’Ύ Save this reel right now β€” and share it with every woman in your life who needs to hear this.
