Multiple lesions in the brain has always been a daunting task for any neurosurgeon. To overcome this situation we use navigation guided targets.
This was a case of a child with multiple non communicating brain abscesses (pic A). We used a navigation tool which is a real time multiplanar along with 3D visualisation of targets and trajectory helping in aspirations of these multiple abscesses with two tiny incisions only (pic B & C). The result was fantastic as you can see the complete collapse of all cavities (pic D) in post op CT scan.
