KNOW THE DIFFERENCE

Patient A has a ringworms Caused by a fungal infection and therefore using deworming medicine will not help.

Patient B on the other hand has a worm(hookworm) called Cutaneous larva migrans and using some dewormer medicines will help.

To treat Patient A we use antifungal cream or tablets

To treat patient B we use anthelmintic cream/tablets.
