READ THE LABEL BEFORE YOU EAT IT! 🔍
As a Clinical Nutritionist, this is one habit I insist every client builds—because what’s written on the label, ends up in your body. 🧠💥
So before you toss that “healthy-looking” packet into your cart… stop and check:
🔴 Red Flags on Food Labels:
🚫 Long ingredient lists you can’t pronounce
🚫 Hidden sugars (look for names like fructose, maltose, corn syrup)
🚫 Trans fats, hydrogenated oils
🚫 Artificial colors & preservatives (E102, E110, etc.)
🚫 “Zero fat” but full of chemicals
🚫 “Natural” or “Multigrain” claims – often marketing traps
✅ What to Look For Instead:
✔️ Fewer ingredients = more real food
✔️ Whole grains, clean oils, natural sweeteners
✔️ Expiry date & storage instructions
✔️ Certifications: FSSAI, USDA Organic, etc.
⚠️ REMEMBER:
Just because it’s in a “healthy” aisle doesn’t mean it’s safe or nourishing.
Read labels like you read WhatsApp messages – carefully. Your gut, hormones, and future self will thank you. 🙏
