This young lady of 35 had severe long standing back & leg pain due to this slippage of her L5 spine bone over S1 bone. This condition of bone Slip is called spondylolisthesis & can occur due to a variety of reasons ranging from birth defects to aging of the spine.

This slippage can cause spinal nerves to get compressed and result in leg pain or difficulty in standing or walking for long.

In early stage patients pit is managed with precautions & physiotherapy but patient with advanced stage disease need Fixation with 4 or 6 screws.

Our patient had advanced stage Slip which we decided to correct with Minimally Invasive surgery rather than the usual open Surgery Done at most other centres.

2 small access ports were used to free up the nerve roots and stabilise the spine. Bones aligned well after this keyhole surgery & patient preop pains disappeared completely by first visit.

"Putting in the effort to improve your posture has huge payoffs. But what is good posture really? Good posture is also known as the neutral spine. When we have good posture, the muscles surrounding the spine are balanced and supporting the body equally. Sitting or standing in a slouched position for prolonged periods of time stresses your lower back. More specifically, it puts pressure on the posterior structures of the spine, including the intervertebral discs, ligaments, and muscles." Dr SK Rajan

"Reviews are a good first step but it’s necessary for healthcare providers to have a well-designed patient feedback system in place. When patients feel they’re being listened to and their feedback matters, it can help your practice improve patient engagement. The connection builds a better understanding, it is a much more fulfilling experience for them. " Dr SK Rajan

"Sitting with proper posture is an easy thing to do. First, you need to sit in a supportive chair with a backrest. The back of the chair should support your low back. A lumbar roll is also needed to sit with proper posture. The roll should be supportive, and it should be placed in the small of your back to help support your lumbar spine's natural forward curve, called a lordosis. The best lumbar support is one that maintains the forward curve in your back while you are sitting and that feels comfortable on your low back." Dr SK Rajan
