Parva Bakasana - took me just 3 months to master this, but it took me years to get to the next step - Eka Pada Koundinyasana 1, Fallen Angel, Grasshopper etc.. because my practice was scattered. You make steady progress in whatever you do steadily.

The answer to 99.9% of my problems is becoming present. As soon as I become present I realize that everything is okay and there’s nothing to be anxious/worried/stressed about. It takes a little bit of training but once you start doing this, you will find that your days are lighter too.

Whoever is teaching you Yoga for weight loss is defeating the whole purpose of Yoga. Asana practice is meant to make your body healthy and fit enough to sit in meditation and ultimately attain Samadhi. Not for fat loss/weight loss/toning etc etc
