What is PRP?
PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma.
Platelets are a component of your blood that contain growth factors and healing signals that help the body repair tissue.
In a PRP treatment, we take a small sample of your blood, concentrate the platelets, and inject them into the injured area to stimulate healing and tissue repair.
PRP is commonly used for:
• Ligament injuries
• Tendon injuries
• Early arthritis
• Sports injuries
• Chronic joint pain
The goal is simple: help the body heal itself, instead of only managing pain.
