The centre is working for the welfare of blind was established in 1996 by Late Shri J S Sharma, himself a blind. The centre has arrangement for 40 pupils for free boarding and training. They are also provided clothing, medical aid and items free of cost. The aim of JRTC is to empower them to get employment/self employment and lead productive independent lives whether or not they have the resources to get trained.
