CENTRAL INSTRUMENTATION FACILITY"
Today Department of Bioscience organised an advanced lab visit programme at IIT Guwahati for the students of BSc BT and BSc MCR of the department. Students got exposure to different tools and techniques of advanced laboratory environment of the "Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering". Students even visited the "Central Instrumentation Facility", experienced with work culture and study environment of the IIT, Guwahati. Heartfelt thanks to honourable Dr Utpal Bora, HOD of the department and all the members of the laboratory for your guidance, support, help and most importantly for providing our students this opportunity.

Department of Bioscience, Asian Institute of Management and Technology, today organised a guest lecture session at the department itself on the topic Environmental Biotechnology. The guest of honour of today's event was Prof. Hridip Kumar Sarmah, HOD, Department of Biotechnology, Gauhati University, Assam. Students got knowledge on different fields under this topic. The entire session was quite interactive.

2nd April, Wall Magazine of Business administration is inaugurated by Dr Prashant Singh, Presedent of AIMT, in Block C, The name of the Wall Magazine is Business Spectrum, and the topic is circular economy with reference to Assam, It depicts how circular economy could increase competitiveness, stimulate innovation, boost economic growth and create jobs in the overall growth of north east region.

The Computer Science Department organized the Wall Magazine, 'CYBER CHRONICLES".- a creative platform where innovation meets imagination. President of AIMT, Dr. Prashant Singh did the inauguration formalities and graced the event with his presence along with other members of the Institute. AIMT congratulates all the students for their hard work, creativity, and dedication.

The department of Mass Communication, Asian Institute of Management and Technology organised an Educational Excursion to Darjeeling , The queen of Hills from 23/03/2026 to 26/03/2026. It was a great learning experience especially in understanding the importance of natural light and diffusion in photography.
Also it was a beautiful opportunity for team bonding among the students of the department.

An Insightful session was conducted by the Department of Computer Science on 26th March 2026. Guest of honor was Yakeen Osmani and the topic was "Life Hacking: Hack Your Own Reality". The session was extremely enriching and enlightening. The concept of “hacking your own reality” was explained in a simple yet powerful manner, making it relatable to everyone.

President of Gyanjyoti Foundation inaugurated the departmental wall magazine "Bioflash" today at the department itself, in presence of Principal, AIMT, HODs of respective departments, faculty members, staff members and the students. The theme of the event was Nuclear War and genetic defect.Congratulations and best wishes to all dear students for the future endeavors....
