This is a case of a young lady who was suffering from chronic back pain with leg pain for more then 2yrs. She was being managed in some other centre with pain killer and physiotherapy but her quality of life didn't improve. On clinical examination we made a diagnosis of discogenic pain. On MRI imaging there was a crack inside the disc (annular tear ). We decided to do an injection inside the disc under x ray guidance. Patient is pain free for last 6month.
Most of the cases of disc prolapse and radiculopathy can be treated with minimally invasive procedure then expensive surgery.

Ganglion impar block. This is a sympathetic plexus block used for chronic pain condition like coccygodynia ( tail bone pain), perineal pain (pain around a**s ), chronic prostatitis, pain due to a**l cancer and any chronic pain condition of pelvic and ge***al region.
The image shown below is the fluoroscopic image of ganglion impar block showing dye spread. The patient was suffering from a**l cancer. Despite being on high dose of a**lgesic patient was having severe pain. After diagnostic block patient had pain relief of more then 70 percent. Following successful diagnostic block neurolysis with alcohol was done.
