I have nothing against quota system personally. Today I want to highlight one theoretical possibility of quota system and problem with the general candidates. As the provision of the quota system is that if you score high you can apply for the general seat as well. No bar.
Nowadays the quota students are also doing very well in the exams and one day it might happen that all open seats are occupied by the quota system according to their merit and not a single seat is left for the general candidates! What will happen? Though it is very difficult but possibility can’t ruled out.
So my take is that the seats for should be for general only!!
My personal opinion only!
