Empowering Young Minds through Mental Health & Social Emotional Learning 🌱🧠
On 9th August 2025, we had the privilege of being part of the “Discussion on Mental Health and Social Emotional Learning (SEL)” organized by Jagi Bhakatgaon Regional Students Union, AASU in collaboration with Mindora Foundation at Bhakatgaon HS School.
Nearly 200 enthusiastic youths participated, reflecting a growing awareness and commitment towards mental well-being and emotional intelligence in our communities.
The program was graced by Binita Sharma Das, Consultant Psychologist, Apollo Excelcare Hospital, Guwahati, and Jayanta Haloi, Director, Mindora Foundation, who shared invaluable insights on nurturing emotional resilience, managing stress, and building supportive peer networks.
Such initiatives are a reminder that mental health is not a luxury—it’s a necessity, and empowering our youth with Social Emotional Learning skills is a step towards building a compassionate and resilient society.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants, organizers, and speakers for making this event meaningful and impactful. Together, we can create spaces where young minds feel heard, valued, and supported. 💙
