In a historic agreement, Assam Cancer Care Foundation today signed it’s first-ever MoU with the Royal Govt of Bhutan at SCI Guwahati.

Formalised between Dr. Phub Tshering, Medical Director, JDWNRH, Royal Government of Bhutan, and Dr. (Maj Gen) Jai Prakash Prasad, Chief Operating Officer of ACCF, this landmark partnership will bring the people of Bhutan under South Asia’s Largest Cancer Care Network, ensuring access to quality and affordable cancer care through ACCF hospitals.

A major step towards strengthening cancer care in Assam.

The Golaghat Cancer Centre and Tinsukia Cancer Centre, part of the 17-hospital cancer care network, bring advanced oncology services closer to people’s homes.

Developed under the Assam Cancer Care Foundation, a joint initiative of the Government of Assam and the Tata Trusts, the centres mark another milestone in making quality cancer care more accessible across the state.

A major step towards accessible cancer care in Karbi Anglong.

The Diphu Cancer Centre, inaugrated by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, will strengthen access to advanced and affordable oncology services for the region.

Built at a cost of ₹270 crore, the centre will bring critical cancer treatment closer to home, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances for specialised care.
