National Doctors Day 2024:

हर साल 1 जुलाई को राष्ट्रीय चिकित्सक दिवस यानी नेशनल डॉक्टर्स डे (National Doctors Day) देश के डॉक्टरों और स्वास्थ्य सेवा पेशेवरों को सम्मानित करने के लिए मनाया जाता है, जो मरीजों का जीवन बचाने और बेहतर बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं. यह दिन डॉक्टरों और उनके पेशे के प्रति उनकी प्रतिबद्धता का जश्न मनाता है. खासकर, महामारी के बाद डॉक्टरों की अहमियत, उनकी असाधारण सेवाएं और अधिक पहचानी जाने लगी . दरअसल, भारत में 1 जुलाई को डॉक्टर्स डे देश के सबसे प्रसिद्ध चिकित्सकों में से एक डॉ. बिधान चंद्र रॉय (Bidhan Chandra Roy) की जयंती और पुण्यतिथि मनाई जाती है, जो पश्चिम बंगाल के दूसरे मुख्यमंत्री भी थे. चिकित्सा के क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान को याद करने के लिए ही हर साल 1 जुलाई को देशभर में डॉक्टर्स डे मनाया जाता है.
