उत्साह और गरिमा के साथ आयोजित हिंदी पखवाड़ा में निबंध लेखन, काव्य पाठ, चित्र दृश्य लेखन और अनुवाद जैसी विविध प्रतियोगिताओं में संकाय, अधिकारी, कर्मचारी एवं छात्र-छात्राओं ने बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया। 🙌

समापन समारोह (26 सितम्बर) में मुख्य अतिथि प्रो. प्रभा शंकर शुक्ला (कुलपति, NEHU शिलांग) और श्री रविशंकर रवि (संपादक, दैनिक पूर्वोदय) ने हिंदी की संवैधानिक महत्ता और राष्ट्रीय एकता में इसकी भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला। 🌿📖

🚨 Beware of Fake Bank Agent Frauds!

One of our community members recently got a call from someone pretending to be an SBI agent. The caller claimed there was an insurance policy that would auto-deduct money and asked him to install an APK app from WhatsApp.

Within minutes, the fraudster got access to card details and ₹8529 was lost. Luckily, bigger transactions (~₹20,000 & ₹68,000) were blocked because the card was reported in time.

❌ This is not an isolated incident.
Several AIIMS Guwahati members from different designation have faced similar scams. And many are still getting scam calls and messages.

⚠️ Red Flags to watch out for:

Calls asking to close insurance/loans

Requests to install APK apps

Asking for card CVV, expiry, or OTP

🔒 Protect Yourself:
✅ Never install unknown apps
✅ Never share card details
✅ Always use the official helpline
✅ Hang up immediately if you sense fraud

💡 Awareness is the best security.
