Today, Cosmo Medical joins the world in celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of the legendary Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, affectionately known as the “Bard of the Brahmaputra.” Born on September 8, 1926, in Sadiya, Assam, Dr. Hazarika was a multifaceted genius—singer, songwriter, filmmaker, and social activist—whose work transcended regional boundaries and resonated with the universal human spirit.
His iconic songs like Manuhe Manuhor Babe, Dil Hoom Hoom Kare, and Mahabahu Brahmaputra continue to inspire and unite us, reflecting themes of humanity, justice, and compassion. Awarded the Bharat Ratna posthumously in 2019, his contributions to music and society remain unparalleled.
