Angioplasty
/Lakwa is Treatable
to Back Carotid Angioplasty on first day of new year
First case : 60 year old male presented with Complete Hemiplegia of Left side immediately thrombolysed with tPA was able to walk independently within 90 minutes of hospital arrival. DSA ( Brain Angiography) showed Right ICA critical stenosis. Patient was taken for stent assisted carotid angioplasty. Patient was discharged in a stable condition and was able to walk independently.
Second case: 68 year old male had LICA (Left ICA Critical Stenosis) was on dual antiplatelets. Still had an episode of TIA. Patient was taken for stent assisted carotid angioplasty. Patient was discharged in stable condition 48 hours after procedure

66 year old male presented with thunderclap headache and loss of consciousness. NCCT head was s/o brain hemorrhage (SAH). CT angio brain was s/o AcoM Aneurysm measuring 12mm×11mm. Dr. Saurabh Gupta (Consultant Intervention Neurologist) and his team performed this difficult and lengthy procedure in BIMR hospital through minimum invasive approach and performed this brain surgery without any stitch and minimal blood loss. Patient was discharged within two days post procedure
