Ectopic pregnancy is that emergency situation wherein the baby implants outside the uterine cavity. Its most commonly seen in the fallopian tubes and eventually leads to rupture and blood loss.
With advancements in the field of surgery, now such patients can be treated laparoscopically with minimum hospital stay and faster recovery.
Operated a patient of left side ruptured tubal ectopic with previous history of cesarean section. Adhesiolysis done followed by salpingectomy. Patient was discharged after 48 hours.
